Lost Classic!!!
What a masterpiece! Picture The Who in 1967 with 2007 production values and you'll start to get an idea about how amazing this is...The guitar and drums, in particular, are mind blowing. Take a chance on this, you will thank me later!
Nothing sleepy about this
I like this album because of the fact that it just rocks. There is a certain Who element. Sleepy Ted is a classic. Public display could well a be in there with other post punk anthems of the early seventies. You also have two instrumentals-Come back to this world Pt 1 and Descend. The former, a raging rocker exclaiming that they’re ready to “take over the world” and the latter a sounds cape of sonic proportions. Then there is their killer version of Wire’s 12XU. This was originally supposed to be just a recording project for singer, guitarist and songwriter-Settly. But ZOOM became a fantastic live band that was burning up clubs all thru New Orleans and the surrounding area. Settly has a new Self Titled CD. Check that out as well…
