Credit where it's due...
That Mighty Bosstones song is actually a cover of a song by the Dogmatics. Love the Sonic Youth track, though.
An Okay Christmas Album
Not the best, but an okay Christmas Album. GoldFinger and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones add a little ska to the mix, and 'Santa Doesn't Cop Out on Dope' is good for a cheap laugh, but The Beck song is iffy I excpected more from Local H and Spinal Tap.
Makes You Think....
Talk about a disc that makes you remember those less fortunate. The Bosstones' "XMas Time" maybe the single best rock n' roll Christmas song ever written....should be a holiday staple for charities.
