2 of my favorite early 00s post-hardcore bands!
This is a really great concept for a split album that SBB and The CL decided upon. First track "Wrong Hometown" has all the instrumentation done by the Bike, while Nate and Stacy from the Lot handle vocal duties. The reverse applies for Boardinghouse (see, awesome concept already!). The other collaborations between both bands are 1.) Quite possibly the best Queen cover out there! 2.) A nice, acoustic closer called "Riding To Death". Aside from the collabs, fans also get 1 original song from each band ("Now I'm A Shadow" from SBB and "Composing Myself (A Lullaby)" from the CL.
Now what about what the songs sound like? Well what do you expect from these 2 great bands? Great music of course! If you're a fan of one band, you might as well start listening to the other, because you should fall in love with them too, like I did!
