A Disney Original and as classic as the film itself
Thank you so much for putting this album up! Since Snow White was Walt Disney's first animated movie, this is also his very first soundtrack for a full-length film. In the 1930s, people would sing on the streets to the lovable songs like "Whistle While You Work" or "Heigh Ho." The instrumentals are so well-composed, the listener can easily depict what is occurring in each scene. The music became so popular that the film was even nomiated the Acadamy Award for Best Score. When you buy the soundtrack to Snow White, you're buying Walt Disney's original work.
Where's the movie?
I think this is just about the greatest Disney album ever, but I have one question: why don't you people at i-Tunes have the movie? It's one of my all-time favorites and I'm sure there are a lot of other people out there who agree with me. So please just get the movie!!
Oh my goodness!
I absolutely adore Snow White! Adriana Caselotti has a beautiful voice and before people start going "OMG SHE SOUNDS HORRIBLE!!!!11". Let me remind you that her style of singing was popular in 1937 (: This cd is a must for any Disney fan! :D
