Incredible

I had a ridiculously long and narrative description of this album, but decided to delete it. It was unnecessary. This is an absolutely epic album in every capacity...easily the most thorough and well done prog album I have ever heard (over 1000 cds). Buy it immediately.

Ditto on all those 5-star reviews

This is my new favorite album. I gave it to my brother for his birthday and I NEVER give him music because he's a picky audiophile snob who used to work in a record store (think Jack Black in High Fidelity). If you like Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles, Steely Dan, Star Trek, facial hair, hair in general, or if you have a pet or boy/girlfriend WITH hair, buy this album. If you don't like it, please email me as I would like to learn more about your planet.

Pure Brilliance

I cannot recommend this album enough to any fans of progressive rock, or just rock in general. This is a great example of what a concept album should be. Themes are used and reused throughout the album, the story is well told, and some of the best music is saved for last. So many different musical styles are present; from the proggy overture to the alternative rock style songs such as "Welcome to NYC" (which has a killer riff), the music is diverse and interesting. And throughout it all, great hooks and melodies abound, never descending into pure prog noodling (except for "Ladies and Gentlemen, Mister Ryo Okumoto on the Keyboards, but its meant more as a lighthearted parody of the genre and a break from the story; and anyways, I love prog noodling) . The songwriting and musicianship are outstanding. Buy this album immediately if you want some great, interesting, multi-layered music that will satisfy you for a long, long time.
