Great Collection of Songs

I'm writing this review mainly as a counter point because Helgajean's was completely unfair to the band. You don't have to be a fan of the language, but don't rate their hard work a "1" simply because you personally need someone to yell "ear muffs" every time there's a dirty word. Fans of Glasvegas will be able to tell even by the 30 second samples that this EP picks up right where the album left off and continues down the same the dreamy, calming landscape that you've come to know and love. This EP is well worth the money... assuming a few bad words don't make you need your Mommy.

Christmas Is Always Sad

I agree with Unrequited Love. The second track is actually one of the better songs on the the EP, and the expletive in question is astonishingly appropriate given the overall oeuvre of Glasvegas.

Frankly I think the initial reviewer was guilty of childishness themself.

Having said that, it's a solid EP if you are A) already familiar with the band and B) like what they do. If you don't meet either of these criteria then this isn't likely your cup of hot java. If you meet the former but don't want to shell out five bucks I'd say you could just snag tracks two and four and get the best stuff this record has to offer... the lonesome wail of of F**k You, It's Over would be well situated in the band's debut album and the Badalamenti riff from Twin Peaks played upon in Please Come Back Home brought back a lot of the same ghostly shivers I got watching the series back in junior high.

A Snowflake Fell (And It Fealt Like a Kiss)

A Snowflake Fell is one of my new favorite songs. I love what it's about and the singers voice. It's just amazing!
