LaKisha's sounding great!

LaKisha Jones, who rose to fame when she reached the Top 4 of American Idol's Season 6, electrified fans with her big voiced versions of such classics as "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" and Bon Jovi's "This Ain't A Love Song". Now she's back with her first CD, and I love it. On this CD, she works with talented producers like Grammy Award winner Tony Nicholas, Ro & Sauce and Chris Black. The album focuses on both R&B and Soul music and includes an inspirational song as homage to her strong Gospel roots. Lots of great music on this CD, and LaKisha is in fine vocal form. "Let's Go Celebrate", the first single, is a catchy, danceable, girls' night out song, and there are two dance re-mixes of this track. "Same Song", penned by renowned songwriter Diane Warren, is a gorgeous, soulful ballad. "Beautiful Girl" is a touching tribute to LaKisha's own daughter, while "Nothing" is an ode to a love gone bad. "So Glad I'm Me" is LaKisha's story of celebration of her own life, and she does a great cover of Whitney Houston's "You Give Good Love". Nothing sounds as good as LaKisha with a beautiful, soulful ballad. Her vocals just soar. So glad LaKisha is back...love this CD!

I have to say this is a great album for a wonderful woman. She has come along way from American Idol and out did herself. The music is really alot of fun a party cd for the summer ahead. Best of Luck!

A Great Album from My American Idol!

This album is very good! LaKisha has a great voice and there is a broad mix of R&B on this album, from classic R&B to R&B/dance! If you are a fan of Lakisha's then you should buy this album you won't regret it!
