Uh-Mazing!
As one of the few albums that follows no theme such as the hate towards Bush (War on Errorism) or Jesus mocking (Never Trust a Hippie, Wolves in Wolves Clothing) So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes just represnts what NOFX stands for...Good music! Overall, every single track is good and has decent amounts of length. If You Likes "The Decline" then picture that strung out into a 16 track album!
Best Punk Album Of All Time
From the first song to the last this in your face take no prisoner punk album is the best. This album inspired my own music creativity. If you are in the punk scene this album opened the doors for many new punk rock artists in the late 90's. Whenever I hear new music like AX7, Rise Against, Blink 182, there are undoubted comparisons in the notes, strumming, and drumming.
Great Album from a Great Band
Nofx keeps producing quality punk-pop and this 1997 album is no exception, in fact look at the liner notes for "The Greatest Songs" and you'll see the band thinks this is their best album, and with songs like 180 degrees, Murder the Government, All His Suits Are Torn, I'm Telling Tim, and Eat the Meek I'd have to say its second only to "War on Errorism" (or maybe the "Decline" if you count that as an album).
