Modern Masters
SoloDuo, comprised of Italian classical guitarists Mateo Mela and Lorenzo Micheli, has to be one of the best guitar duos out there today. The interplay between the two is so incredibly tight, you can hardly believe it is two people sometimes (this same intense connection carries forth in their live performances too; you can see some footage of them on YouTube). The highlight of this set is definitely the Piazzolla Tango Suite, but all the pieces are both lyrical and technical and really show what this duo can do.
Soloduo
This duo is, I believe, the best in the world currently. I just recently played in a masterclass for them and they were incredibly talented as well as personal and helpful. Great guys and amazing music!
