Stripped down, bare bones, raw emotion... captures, I can only imagine, the sentiments of those protecting our freedom. THANK YOU to all those who serve, first and foremost, and thank you to Mr. Azar for putting an emotion to this in words and music. Quite simply, eloquent...
To all Civilians
You will never know how much it is appreciated, even if we look a little embarrassed when someone says "Thank You" just those two words acknowledge so much. No matter how long it has been. I got out of the Army in 79, and for so many years no one said anything. IF I put on my resume' I was a Veteran, no notice was made of it, then later after the twin towers, all of a sudden, people I didn't know would look at me and see me in an old army fatigue hat, or read my resume, or people I had known for years started to say, "Thank You', at first I was so surprised I didn't know what to say, then I thought about it, I did sign a piece of paper giving My all, up and to, including my life if need be to and protect the Constitution of theUnited States of America, against all Enemies, both Foreign and Domestic. 2% of American's do this, it isn't manditory. I am female, I didn't have to go. So, THANK YOU, For Taking the time, and being thoughtful enough to say Thank you.
