by novice snobVery intimate setting sounds great. The Barricades of Heaven and Birds of St. Mark sound amazing. Most of the other songs work well too, and inbetween banter is pretty funny.
Jackson at his best
by blumenbachWell, I still recall the summer of '72--as if it were yesterday. I was building my first car and I was 15, living with my family in Long Beach... and listening over and over to the hits Doctor My Eyes and Rock Me On the Water on KLOS. I knew Jackson was from Anaheim and performed regularly in the area; I considered him "a local talent". As with so many others, Jackson's music went on to become the soundtrack to my life and I've since seen him countless times in concert. I've always found it remarkable how he doesn't seem to age, and like a fine wine he just mellows and gets better as time goes on. I saw him last year during his acoustic tour, and with all the years of memories it was a fitting musical continuation of this journey we call life. It was an unforgettable concert and the two Solo Acoustic albums capture it well. Getting these albums is a must for your JB collection...
