Worth It
I recently saw Marta at a small club, where material from this album was featured. She is wonderful. her material has a ligth jazzy/folk feel, the subject matter is drawn from the truths of everday life, and the compositions are always fluid and surprising. Although both iTunes albums are equally great, this one is my favorite. It is a worhtwhile addition to any iTunes library.
Thoughtful and much desired messages
Marta Gómez has lots of capacity for expression but chooses to write simple, yet mind-expanding, folklore about important matters for humanity. I wish world leaders hired Marta to sing for them before going to war with each other. This music is deep on a level where not a single soul, possessing at least the minimum required quantity of compassion, can ignore the universal message.
