Fun Album

"French Connection" is a fun, fast song that didn't get enough attention. One of my most played on my iPod for sure!

Sensual Grooves!

Once again, back to review my glorious Stinger! Standout tracks for me are of course French Connection, Madame X, and The Future Will Blow Your Mind, but Let Me Burn, Presence of Love, and Practice My Smile are ballads that will give you chills. I'm not quite sure how Simon Stinger continues to come up with hook after hook, but I'm constantly singing their songs in my head. I've been waiting a while now for a new CD but I don't know of one being released. I've heard there is a new project brewing though.

French Connection, Madame X, Presence of Love, and Practice My Smile

These songs need to be in your library. I'm not kidding. Simon Stinger also has a new electro dance project called Fans of Jimmy Century where they re-did The Future Will Blow Your Mind, but I hear they're also re-doing Madame X. They're unique, they're full of confidence and sensuality and I've never heard anything like them.

Biography

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '90s, '00s

California's Simon Stinger was co-founded in 1995 by singer Alicia Perrone and bassist/producer Victor James. The four-member band released a 7" vinyl recording in 1996 on their own Muscle Car Records label and followed with a full-length CD, Private Collection, in 1997....
