These songs will not leave you
I've been waiting for this to come out for a long time and it was well worth the wait. Christine has always been able to turn a witty phrase and now she's set it to music. These songs will not leave you. And then her voice...you know she was meant to sing these songs that she wrote. Only she could! I encourage anyone seeking out new music to give this one a try!
Someone I
My favs are Burbank , What there to Eat, Guitars and cadillacs and Aloysius. The production values are sublime and her voice is haunting kind of a combo of Joplin and Morissette. I found the lyrics moving and original.
Very cool and her own style!
I like this CD! I like her lyrics and I like her style. Her music is kind of "anytime" music to me (you can play it whenever you like, whatever you're feeling). I think she has her own style in singing and playing and it almost sounds country to me, if I had to pick something. Alternative/country? I don't know. But its great! :)
