Album Review

Someone to Give My Love To/Ain't Gonna Take No for an Answer is See for Miles' reissue of Frank Ifield's two mid-'70s albums for the Spark label. The sound is up to See for Miles' usual high standard and the annotation, by the BBC's Spencer Leigh, is one of the more thorough accounts of Ifield's unusual life and career, capturing the strange intercontinental/multinational success that he enjoyed through two decades and halfway across the world.
