Good Album, But you have to see them live.
And stand right in front of the guitar player, at a little club. The sheer energy and rawness of the sound is unparalleled. But, if that isn't an option, this is a good buy.
I'm probably preaching to the choir
...but if you know this band then there's no reason to even hesitate at buying this album. Hell, you should have bought it at their show already. The only drag for me is that I'm in another country and can't see them live for a while.

The post-rock/experimental outfit the Big Sleep feature Danny Barria (guitar), Sonya Balchandani (bass/vocals), and Gabe Rhodes (drums). The Brooklyn-based trio creates a brooding batch of psychedelic rock with an indie rock aesthetic. Prior to forming the Big Sleep in 2005, Balchandani made her debut with the stylish noise pop band Hong Kong, while Barria played with Haywood and the Detroit dream pop act Mahogany.
