An absolute amazing piece of work!
I have two daughters, 5 and 7 years old. We were looking for something fun to listen to for our 3 hour car trip, and decided on Songs for Kids by Have Fun Teaching. Once the song "Hey Bully" started, the girls asked me to pause the song to explain what a bully is, and why they would be mean.
We had one of the most incredible discussions about bullies, and mean people in general - and how as the song says we shouldn't give in, but we should show love instead - because bullies are people too; and they may not have it as good as we do.
Then once we got to the Verb Rap Song, it was a clap, shout and jump fest (well, since we were in the car, we simply moved up and down!) It was so fun!
What a great way to have quality time with your kids!
The girls can't stop singing the songs, and listening to the songs. What's great is that they're learning about so many things as they do!
Not Your Normal Cheesy Kids CD!!!
These songs are catchy, educational, and fun! Your students will be singing these songs with their friends and in their head during a test. "Hey Bully Song" and "Respect Song" are perfect for character education lessons, "Noun Song" and "Verb Rap Song" are a masterpiece for teaching grammar, and "Good Morning Song", "Days of the Week Song", and "Months of the Year Song" are memorable for Pre-K and Kindergarten. This entire album is amazing for teachers, parents, and kids!
Relevant and Creative!
So creative and fun! What a great way for kids to learn and remember . . . not only academic information but character education principles as well. Every elementary teacher should incorporate these songs in their lessons!
