THIS IS ROCK AND ROLL !!!
My friends, This new band Pervadelic is so fantastic that I cannot help wanting to send out my highest and most emphatic reccomendation to all of you. First of all the name Pervadelic will probably confuse you and give you an incorrect impression of what these guys sound like and what their songs are about. It's probably not what you are thinking. The "perv" reference in the title is just because the lyrics in the songs are sort of tounge in cheek,suggestive,witty,humorous maybe even slightly "Beatle-esq" type of love songs. For example the song "I Like Mommies" is about a young male that prefers older,more experienced ladies who might be more uninhibited than most younger women his age.The lyrics "I like Momies cause you know they do it I like mommoies yeah I hope they wanna do it with me!" The instrumentation in this song is fantastic. Great crushing strat leads and riffs. Clean melodic bass, amusing vocal harmonies,even a horn section that sounds like a big band blended with hard driving beats,uplifting melodies and it will surely make you smile and want to crank it up louder. If you are passionate about great rock and roll, this is a perfect rock album. I guaranty that if you hear this, you will want to hear it over and over and over many many times OVER. I have had my cd in my car for a couple months now and I am not tired of it. This song has already become one of my all time favorite albums in my huge collection. What else can I say? This may be the best 10 bucks you have ever spent. It is way way WAY worth the price. This band has the sound and potential to be HUGE! I will be a fan for life!!!!!

I love the record and I love this band, Pervadelic. I think this album is all about the SONGS. They each have words that are well written and tell a compelling and interesting story. When I listen to Sometimes Sara, I can relate. I've been there, I know. Mouth Fulla Lovin', I only wish I knew about. That one is pervy to the extreme. The melodies on Songs For Pervs are very catchy, yet they are all very unique. I have to say that the production on this record really stands out. Every song rocks hard. It seems like the band was trying to be heavy in a new way. Butterfly Tattoo, for example, rocks as hard as anything out there, but you can tell that the guys playing the instruments are uber talented. I listen to this record over and over again and it always sounds fresh. CHECK IT OUT!!!
