Album Review
Whoever determined that heavy metal and humor simply don't mix (was it Spinal Tap?) failed to alert vocalist/bassist Dave Brockie (of GWAR infamy) and his ill-intentioned cohorts (guitarist Mike Derks and drummer Brad Roberts) in the ironically named Dave Brockie Experience. Together they pack 2003's alternately gut-busting and distraction-inducing Songs for the Wrong with 17 songs dedicated to everything from animal instincts ("I Wanna Be a Squirrell" and the Zappa-esque "Medieval Werewolf") to scatological musings ("Slowpoke," "Hard for a 'Tard"), to promoting homosexual affirmative action in the military ("March of the F****t Soldiers")...OK, not really. Equally prone to eulogizing cheese ("The Chinese Have No Cheese") and his p***s ("Should the Ugly Girl Blow Me?"), Brockie and his crew are clearly not everyone's cup of tea, but if approached with an open mind and a teenage maturity level, Songs for the Wrong guarantees a good time, if not necessarily great music.

Its Killer
This Is the first time ever heard this guy and he is freakin great, Think you should buy this album with no doubt in your mind.
Exactly what I expected
I just don't know what to say about songs like Should the ugly girl blow me, and Hard for a'tard, actually because I cannot stop laughing just thinking about the lyrics. Another must have for fans of Gwar. It's nice to see that while Dave Brockie has taken Gwar more into the metal scene he still has one hell of a sense of humor. Buy this album and don't blame me if you just happen to urinate yourself while listening to it.
Amazingly Super Great Awesome Album
This album is funny! The music is very good and it does sound a little like GWAR but if you are expecting Scum Dogs quailty metal than this isn't the album for you. Songs like Shatilla def. have the heavy metal GWAR sound but honestly this album is more of an adventure in Oderus' sick and twisted world. As I listen to this album I day dream about Oderus dancing around being a big silly goof! Best songs on the Album Slowpoke, Should the Ugly Girl Blow Me, Hard for a 'Tard.
