It seems tiring but one has to continue reapeating that this is a rare talent that continues to get better with each recording. Scholl et all present a beautiful dramatic presentation of a composer that is known to most music students but hardly heard outside of the musical colliguims these days. The biggest plus is the debut of Scholl using his baratone voice in an almost sprechstimme fashion. As with the rest of his output this is a release worth adding to your collection. - Bz
