Good Start
It could be a whole lot better, but it still deserves 5 stars. This is the kind of hard rock that so good it can carry from here all the way to classic albums like "Mafia" and "1919 Eternal" without losing any of its greatness.
Solid start
BLS has released several albums since this one and all of them are better. Bored to Tears is a great metal song and Zakk's cover of No More Tears is excellent as well.

Zakk Wylde essentially leaves me speechless. Words cannot describe his brilliance. It PURHs (Pure, Unadulterated, Raw, and Heavy)! Tree of Heaven, Lowdown, Mother Mary, World of Trouble, Better Half ... Top to bottom this masterpiece simply IS!!!
