If you love rock but haven't heard any recently...
More album than CD, with great tracking and engineering, reminiscent of the best albums you’ve heard from any decade, this is like an amusement ride. "Damage Done" and "Shine" are songs that make me want to hear these guys live, standing in the audience, listening to Jeff and Rick with some seriously loud guitars while (Paul) the drummer is kicking a whole in my chest. I love the guitar work on this album. So many textures and emotions. The singer is an instant classic. Faithful to the music he is singing and really outstanding on "Shine" as well as "Don't Know Why". "Love Lies Bleeding" is Dream Theatre to me in every good way. Paul rocks this one too. "Throw Myself" is Stone Temple Pilots to me. "Shine" is Sonic Disorder. Nothing else like it. These guys should be on your radio, CD player, iPod, and if I could have it (please) my DVD player. (in HighDef) They are also stuck in my head. This is great music. Better than most rock releases. From any band. For a long time.
Solid CD
This CD is awesome, it's got great sounds and some blistering guitar work. This is the type of CD you leave in your CD player and listen to over and over again.
Best New Music
This album brings me back to the solid bands of the 90's like Pearl Jam, STP, and Soundgarden. The guitars are awesome, but second to the solid drumming behind every track. The more I listen the more I like every track. I can't believe I never heard of this band. They won't be hidden for long. I recommend Damage Done, Shine and Salty Seed if you don't want to buy the whole CD. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
