Excellent Album!
Afro Peruvian music is beautiful and so full of life. I grew up listening to most of these songs during my childhood and they'll always hold a special place in my heart. Visit Peru if you have the opportunity, you will not regret it. This is just a tiny glimpse of what my beautiful country has to offer. Que viva Peru!!
Beautiful Music
This is MUST have music - but only a beginning! It represents a wonderful adventure in discovering the African presence in Peru. For those who would love Afro Peruvian music, you must go deeper to acquire Lucha Reyes, Lucila Campos, Los Embajadores Criollos, Nicomedes Santa Cruz, Peru Negro, Susana Baca, and others. This a blend of Africa, Spain, and some Indian culture which is unique in Latin America. Enjoy.
