Unbelievable
Hatch is a band like no other. There is no comparison. Each song has an epic cinematic feel and sound, melodically beautiful and powerful. The talent and sound that has arrived here could actually change the way people sense, hear and view the music industry today. This Album is a must for every person animal and alien. This album gets the highest rating!!!
Consider my egg cracked.
Most of us have been waiting far too long for Hatch's first release. A year in the making, Hatch has
redefined the term "Jam Band" with this freestyle-fusion excursion, blurring genres and inventing their own along the way. Each track inspires vivid imagery, and seems to ignite the imagination. As I listened to the album, it seemed as if each track was more like a scene from a movie. Every now and then, voices calling out from these relentlessly dynamic grooves, almost inaudible, hinting that there's something more than simply what I'm hearing. Each track unleashes an onslaught of Bonham-esque, rhythmic harmony, with three drummers woven together seemlessly. Even though the album is primarily instrumental, there are so many beautiful melodies coming from saxophone, trumpet, and keyboards. Epic guitar solos like those in "Konkachila" and "Take Over" will melt your mind, don't say I didn't warn you. And the basslines? Some of the most innovative I've heard in a while.
In short, you can't go wrong with this album. I fully recommend you reserve 75 minutes of your precious time and listen to this beast from top to bottom... definitely one for the heads. egg cracked.

Today many of us live in a world dominated by big label bands that are virtual carbon copies of each other. Musicality, originality, creativity, and sheer sweet tunes are so hard to come by. But a new breed has just hatched. (haha egg joke) Hatch is, as every one else has already said, a freaking amazing "jam band." The music is catchy as hell and the performers are equally as talented. Saxophones, drums, keyboards, etc. This band is amazing. Reviews truly can't describe how great this cd is. If I had the money, I wouldn't hesitate to refund anyones money who didn't enjoy this cd as long as long as they listened to it.
