Loving you is easy....
Sooooooo good!! Lyrics, melodies...everything anyone could ask for in both songwriting and performance. Also checked out Matt Simons in the "listeners also bought section" sounds kinda similar. Eric is still the best though!
Eric Hutchinson Is Pretty Good!
I've been an Eric Hutchinson fan for a while now and he's never let me down. This album is no exception. It's your favorite songs from "Sounds Like This" done acoustically and more stripped down. It sounds just like he's on MTV Unplugged. His voice really shines you can hear every note (I've almost got the guitar parts down!). But I think what I like best about Eric Hutchinson is that he's the real deal. He writes everything himself without the help of hotshot songwriters or big name producers, and yet he's writing some of the most beautifully crafted, best written (not to mention catchy) songs in years! I predict Eric Hutchinson will be massive and I can promise you, this will be your new favorite CD!
Acoustically Perfect
I stumbled upon E Hutch long before he was re-picked back up by Warner Bros when he was traveling solo with his guitar and piano and captivating small venues across the nation. This is his true element and I'm glad to see his new label gave him a chance to spread his acoustic wings again. His mischievious folk style shines so much brighter when he is performing acoustically some thing that I sadly missed with Sounds Like This. This EP reminds me of "That Could've Gone Better" and "...Before I Sold Out" two of Eric's first EPs from his early years that really turned some heads. If you're really fortunate you've gotten to hear him perform his cover of "What's love got to do with it/I Wanna Dance with Somebody/How will I Know" a song that would be an instant hit on the radio. enjoy this acoustic perfection.
