Finally recognition!!

i discovered cassino on purevolume over a year ago when they finally released this i couldn't wait for it to show up on itunes, i'm glad that they're becoming popular now because they're music is so original and relaxing...if you're a fan of bon iver, jack johnson, or just quiet music then i guarantee you'll like this. my favorites are american low, the gin war, platano, and governor

okay

I loved Northstar for years, because despite what Cassino's myspace says the lead singer (& the rest of Northstar) formed a band when they were at Grissom High School in Huntsville, Al and I lvoed them ever since. I can't argue that it is a great album and I know friends who didn't care for Northstar who would LOVE this. His voice will always be great and the music will always play seamlessly but I guess I never got over Northstar's breakup. Anyways, its still a great album, folk lovers rejoice.

Nick Torres, Northstar or not.

Genius, pure genius. I never thought I could get into this folkish music, but Nicks voice really gives it something unique. I saw Cassino live with Straylight Run, The Color Fred, & Dear And The Headlights and they were so good. Cassinos preformance blew me away, and ever since, I'm still aching for them to come back to Oregon. Phenomenal.
