As much as I hate the word "Epic"
There is no other way to describe his most recent collection of instrumentals. The songs feel less electronic than the the first SVH album, but they are a lot heavier and sort of dramatic. These songs will be all over movie and video game trailers for sure.
The Wings of Icarus
The Wings of Icarus is an amazing song. The added strings just adds a certain depth to the work. I hope that Klayton continues to partner with James Dooley on future tracks as this is particular song was just absolutely breathtaking.
"The Wings of Icarus"
When you lead off with a song like "The Wings of Icarus," everything else is going to fall flat. The quality of the song oversahdows the rest of the EP. I would re-arange it: 1. "Pulsar" 2. "The Sentinel" 3. "The Wings of Icarus" and 4. "Adrift on Celestial Seas" Curious to see what future chapters will contain.
