a long time coming!
first new music since august of 2006 and the wait was hard but well worth it. This album is a lot more bluesy, as in the name than Torch. Could Get Dangerous starts it off with some down and dirty soulful blues. Devon voice is superb, guitar work is strong and harmonica is great. Space Age Blues is southern soul, stops you in your tracks...great song. Salvation is amazing bluesy jazzy song with horns that make it great. Sir Duke is well Sir Duke and great Stevie song that Devons rocks out in a funky true way. New Pet Monkey is a persoanl favorite. The rest is for you to find out but let me assure you....all is good with new music i have been waiting for for a long time! Enjoy!

Great new cd from Devon Allman..I was wondering what happen..It's been so long since his first release, and it's was well worth the wait..

Cool album... don't have torch so I don't know how this one compares. This album grew on me the second time around. I expected a little more guitar work to be honest, but maybe devon was trying to play to the songs and not show that he's the next warren haynes. Endless Diamond,I'm ready and Take me to the bridge are AWESOME rock tunes and Space Age Blues is a great minor blues tune that should be in the set of blues bands everywhere. Warm in Wintertime is a wonderful ballad. Salvation is very much like Soulshine, the classic Warren Haynes composition. Love Devon's voice. Solid album, but believe it for not I was expecting a little more. I have no doubt it will grow on me with more listens. I would also imagine that these tunes would BURN live. Hopefully I'll catch a live show soon!
