"There is only one" like this

Heard Mars on KCRW a while back and instantly adored the song. Such an enjoyably mellow song with an uplifting message. I've been waiting for the album to come out ever since.

Cool Kids has such a "cool" vibe; with vocals alternating between mesmerizing & upbeat and a consistently fun beat underneath it all.
As someone who "fell away" from a Church upbringing Sunday Afternoon really struck a chord with me. Just because someone isn't in a place of worship doesn't mean they can't continue their own personal search for God.

I feel like this is the kind of album I will be able to go to over and over again, finding new things to like each time.

Her Voice Is Heavenly

The lyrics on this album aren’t just filler. Listeners get a glimpse into Walker’s life on “I Found You” and “Sunday Afternoon,” the latter, a track that lets us in on her search for a higher being. Things get a little less introspective, yet a little more steamy on “Against the Wall”: -Kiss me up against the wall right now, right here/ Kiss me like I know you’ve wanted to for so long…Tell me that you want me/I’m right here-I don’t know if “Uptight” was the best choice for the first single. There aren’t any standout qualities, and the pace is quite sleepy for an opening track. Walker’s voice is gorgeous though, which brings the enjoyabilitiy level up significantly.

Love it, love it, love it. This album just gels. There are sultry songs a la 'Urban Angel' for Natalie's die-hard fans (like me!), dance-y tracks with super-cool beats, and intimate, personal ballads that really touched my heart. Great job Natalie, sounds like it all came together for you on this one.
