Album Review
A superb album, arguably their finest, though not their biggest, crossover work. The Spinners teamed with Thom Bell and made Motown look stupid with this album of glorious anthems. "I'll Be Around" and "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love" ended any discussions, mentions, or even thoughts of their former lead singer G.C. Cameron, as Phillippe Wynne was emerging as the king of immaculate, sophisticated soul. They had three R&B chart toppers from this album and were now dominating the Motown acts they once idolized.

Not to be missed
by JimTampaI think this, along with the Jackson 5's "ABC" are two of the best pop/r&b albums of the 70s.
Spinners
by uncahalPound for pound, note for note and tune for tune...this is the greatest single soul album ever recorded. I doubt the Spinners knew what they had back in '72. "72? Oh dear, 35 years ago and this music is still vital, beautiful, uplifting. The Spinners were/are the absolute perfect mix of church and street.I listen to this music everyday.
The Spinners
by Rockin DaveAnyone who grew up in the 60's or 70's would love this classic from a group that, I feel, never got the recognition it deserved. The sound is as great today as it was then and it is classic.
