Album Review
Peter Buffett is one of the top composers and performers of ethnic and tribal fusion music. Spirit is a love fest of Native American music, atmospheres, and rock & roll. This live performance celebrates the cultural exchanges between musical arenas and cultural environs. Buffett's approach is similar to Robbie Robertson's. They gather virtuoso performers, give them some direction, and let it flow.

Touched My Spirit!
After viewing this film on PBS, I could not get it out of my mind. The music touched such a deep part of my soul that it made my tears flow and my heart sing. It is a cry of passion to the primal depths of my being. If you enjoy native American music or new age music, you will love this CD! And if you love dance, you will HAVE to buy the dvd as well! Even after listening to it dozens of times, I could not love it more! The music continues to stir my soul time after time.

When I first saw the PBS showing I was not only impressed but I was also deeply moved. Peter Buffett and Robert Mirabel together made such a smart match! What a wonderful tribute to all Native Americans!
