Recline in your most comfortable chair
Kenoma & Mouth of the Architect show us that there is hope within the future of Instrumental Rock. While MotA takes advantage of a symphonic composition in "Sleepwalk Powder", taking us around the world and back again with soft guitar riffs (some of which bring us back to the good ol' metal ballad days) and incorporating various synth effects for that spacious depth that we find in good "jam" songs, Kenoma brings us a little bit more of that edgy upbeat energy in their songs, more notably "1913". Both bands together in this wonderful compilation ask us to find a comfortable seat, sit back, close our eyes, and let the music drift you away. My only problem with this album is it needs to have more songs!

Sleepwalk Powder Wins
The first 6 minutes or so of Sleepwalk Powder might just be the most saddening thing Ive ever heard, a crushing trudge of sludgy, dreamy goodness it falls into even darker territory after that, but anything that band does is excellent. Kenoma's vibe is good, but nothing mindblowing, might be in the wrong mindset for their instrumental dirge-iness. But nonetheless an impressive split.
