Was kinda waiting for this one...
There was advance notice through Facebook that this was coming so I was curious. Cool song. A very nice piece of writing. Great message. Really clean production - the instrumentation never gets in the way of the melody or message. Pretty laid back for one of Nashville's "Guitar God's." I like the way the vocal lilts with the Rhodes piano. It is always great to have Steve deilver new material.
A Timely and Reminiscent Song
I've been a Steve Wariner fan since the early 80s. His cassettes turned me on to Country music. Nice to hear a timely, heartfelt message played and delivered as only he could do it, and reminiscent of his early tracks. I hope to hear more from this veteran artist.
Hopefully more from Steve soon!
Nice song and hopefully a cue that there's a full album in the works!
