From A Comedian's Perspective: A Great CD
I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to open for Tommy in Indiana last year and see firsthand his sarcasm, great joke structure, and overall command of the stage. While not all of us have been so lucky to have seen him in person, this CD definitely does him justice. From my personal favorite bit about wearing seatbelts to his infamous handling of Anti-Baby Shaker Activists, Stand-up Comedy is a great example of showcasing Tommy for what he does best. Buy this CD, and say you helped support a comedian before he became HUGE. Great listen.
Top Ten of 2007!
2008/03/04 - Tommy's debut recording ranks among my top ten favorite comedy albums that I purchased in 2007. (Additional favorite albums are from Paul F. Tompkins, Jimmy Pardo, Doug Stanhope, Greg Proops, and Patton Oswalt, among others. Note that not all of those were RELEASED in '07.) Highlights include "Not a Fighter," "30 Year Pin," and "Where Are My Curtains." However, go ahead and buy the whole album. You won't be disappointed. Or come in third in a fight.
Try it, you won't regret it.
Tommy's a very funny up-and-coming comedian. Not many comedians these days have the talent to create clean humor. Tommy's one of them. To the person who asked why the album cover art looks like that - listen to the first track of the album and you'll understand (two black eyes).
