Exquisite New Age
While the style reminisces the 80s, this albums stands well on its own as premiere new age music. Many new age tracks from many artists can sound hokey, dated, and even do more annoying than relaxing, but Rick Miller's "Starsong" glides you into relaxation. The best track is "The Ascension". This track will take you from the real world to the stars. The style of the track is just like you hear it in the preview, with a background drone and musical moments interjected. Pure heaven!
Early New Age
This music was, in fact, first released in the mid-80s. I have an original release on cassette tape, and I played it so many times the tape broke in many places. I'm glad to see it re-mixed and released on CD. However, my favorite song, Sky Climber, was sped up on the CD re-mix. I want the original version which ran at quarter or half speed.
