Great Dischord Compilation
I've been looking for a digital version of this for years. There are some really great tracks from some 1990 era Dischord bands on here. In Defense Of Humans is one of my favorite Fugazi songs that isn't available on anywhere else as far as I know. Love this record. If you love Dischord I think this is a must have. -Frank MC
Great Collection of Late 80's Socially Conscious Punk/Alt
Dischord's "State of the Union" is a fantastic collection of music. It provides a great introduction to DC area punk/alt of the 80s and 90s, some of which is now extremely hard to find. Socially conscious, often angry, musically powerful, "State of the Union" will not disappoint. I just wish that the original liner notes were included--these contained a short essay summing up much of the message these songs tried to get across, and, which are as relevant now as they were then.
