In Aviate meets August Burns Red
They combine the best of both worlds. EXTREMELY well done clean vocals(superb range, but the guy still sounds like...well...a guy), and the screams are harsh, and they also explor the extremes of their range. The instrumentaion is just about perfect. The guitar tone is amazing, and the drusmt are perfectly balanced. A superb album from a superb band.
Great Album
I'm going to give this album five stars because it is a strong album, and it is very heavy which I love. Singer Jared Wilbur delivers a nice mix of singing and clean vocals, the bass and drums mix were very well executed, and the shredding was nice step for them. I do have to admit that I liked "Is this thing on?" alot more, but this is a very good album that deserves no less than five shiny stars. I hope this guys keep making great music. Buy this album!!
for anybody who wants to restore there faith in music!
I've been listening to these guys since, they first start when they released The Arming. Through there ups and downs this band has stuck together. They have produced two great albums, ( Is This Thing On? and The Revenge). I can say after listening to Statement Of Purpose, it is another job well done by these guys. If you want to restore your faith in good music, and want to be able to listen to a CD, or repeat for twenty-four hours and not get bored with it. Without a doubt buy, Statement Of Purpose. You won't regret it.
