Wowza!!!
While the Stay with you Radio Version is more enjoyable that the elongated album version, the real value here comes from the two fantastic b-sides. "The Fruity Track" samples (to great effect) the song Peaches by The Presidents of the United States of America, ca 1995, and "Rolled" sampels (again impressively) the song Feel Like Making Love by Bad Company, ca 1975. Both songs begin cryptically, mysteriously, hiding the source of their sample. They sound like any other Lemon Jelly song until making their sample obvious 2/3rds of the way into the song. Then for both the sampled vocals are dropped in exactly one minute before the songs ends. Waiting for that moment creates a sense of anticipation that makes these tracks very enjoyable, even with repeated listenings. Lastly, while you save $7 buying these songs here, as opposed to picking up the actual hard copy, it is worth noting that the sleeve art (four drawings, of which the above is one) is very pretty and this reviewer actually framed it and put it on his wall. But $7? Unless you need more wall art, maybe just get it here ;-)
