Great Dance Track!
Especially love "UP" By Jesse McCartney. Great dance track! Very diffrent for him but that's not a bad thing!
Step up and get Up!
This is album is hot. My favorite record is "Up" by Jesse McCartney! That song is FIRE! Crazy, high-energy dance song! The drums straight kill! Dapo Torimiro and Ester Dean wrote a hit dance record and Jesse killed it. To be honest, "Up" is the only reason I purchased this whole album (Yes, it was totally worth it). STEP UP SCORED BIG WITH JESSE McCARTNEY.
Don't start criticizing Jesse McCartney for using Auto-Tune, that's what makes it a hot dance song! Auto-Tune is an effect used to help those that can't sing, sound better. HOWEVER, it's also used to make killer, dance/high-energy songs, and in this case, that's what it's used for (we all know Jesse is an amazingly talented singer-songwriter).
Not sure why they didn't credit Dapo Torimiro for his rap in the song, but he did awesome and he killed those drums! I definitely recommend purchasing this album JUST so you can get "Up". I give the song a 5/5 rating. Great job, JMac, Dapo, and Ester! "Up" totally got me pumped for Jesse's upcoming 4th album!
