Album Review

While most R&B lovermen, except for the very elite few who are able to cross generations, fall apart after a few years of serving up bedroom-ready mood warmers, Keith Sweat is still capable of making decent records a decade into his career. He knows the secret of a good slow-groove album: seduction on the most intimate of levels. And on Still in the Game, Sweat goes one-on-one with his audience, playing into their hearts and souls with his typically smooth-croon grandeur. It all sounds a bit familiar (as well as a bit programmed) — and the Jermaine Dupri, Erick Sermon and Too Short cameos add absolutely nothing to Sweat's sweet mix — but there's a cool sexuality in his grooves and moves. And on the opening "Come and Get with Me," Sweat (with a little help from Snoop Dogg) spins R&B-hip-hop into a wondrous orbit.

I will love this album forever

The entire album is so soothing. The beats are slow and his voice is so smooth. Seriously, I bought this album in 1998 and continue to listen to it from start to finish. Purchase the entire album, the songs flow so nicely together to set the mood. I can't believe this album is still in the shadows because its my favorite and yes I have been listening to K.S. from the beginning!

I love keith sweat!!! His music takes me back it just reignites those times of being young and dumb!

Still in the Game

This is probably his best album and, in my opinion, arguably one of the best modern R&B albums put together. Can be listened to (satisfyingly) from beginning to end without skipping a track. Bought it back when it first came out and I still listen to it in its entirety.
