Jason Diaz: Sensation or Sensational?
Jason Diaz has an INCREDIBLE voice that he wields with pitch-perfect control (without auto-tuning), soulful rock songs, and excellent musicianship. While I can't confirm that it contributes to his music, he has a beautiful head of hair as well.
The song I connect most with is Take Me Or Leave Me. Check it out! It will humanize your face right off of your skull, then you can use Pleasure And Pain to rock it back on.
I'm keeping an eye on him.
Excellent Album from an Equally Excellent Artist
Jason Diaz further proves himself to be a multi-faceted talent on this, his new album. There is much to like about Jason Diaz as an artist-- songwriting, musicianship, spot-on vocals and just plain overall talent. "Stomp Out The Sun" runs the gamut from the in-your-face rock of "Unholiest War" to the gentle ballad "The Prodigal (Sweet Caroline)." Diaz proves himself not only effective in those extremes, but a master of the in between as well. Pay attention to Jason Diaz. It's only a matter of time before you can say you knew him way back when.
AWESOME
As I saw one reviewer put it, Jason is like a cross between Lenny Kravitz on the guitar and with the enthusiasm of a Young Michael Jackson. This stuff is awesome!
