Kismet- I was fortunate to receive this disk
I met these two very talented, charming, and beautiful girls through their mother at NAMM 2012 in the DW area. Stephanie gave me their disk, which I listened to on the way from Anaheim back up to the Central Coast. I couldn't stop listening to it over and over again! The maturity of the songwriting, lyrical content, and playing is extraordinary, and is well beyond their chronological years.
I promised Stephanie I would gift it to others from iTunes if I liked it.
This album is truly a gift, which I will give to all my friends who are sincere and creative musicians.
I can't wait for their next recording!
Deer Park Avenue - Stop & Go
The happened to catch my ear with "Rescue Me" and "Over Again", but all the songs are well written. Their sound reminds me a bit of Alanis Morisette, Pretenders, and Paramore. High production values. Drums are mixed higher than usual, which is uniquely cool. The girls are not winging it here, they are smart and are passionate about everything they do -- and what they have done on this disc is set to a high bar of quality.
