Another great one from Heather

If you like Beth Orton and other chick guitar players with killer voices, you'll love this CD. Heather's voice is haunting and beautiful...this one is more of a chill cd- so you won't be rocking out to it, but you'll be enjoying it when you have friends over for cozy cocktails. It's kinda sexy, too, so could be good mood music ;-) Worth the download.

One of her best.

Each of Heather's albums has its own sound to it, and the word that best describes Storm is 'sparse.' There's not much going on here, just some acoustics and other sound that mostly takes a backseat to Heather's voice, which is showcased here wonderfully. If you're unsure of the album as a whole, I at least recommend listening to "Storm," "Everytime," "All I Need," and "One Day In June." Of all her albums, I feel Redbird is her best work (and wish it could be added here so more people could hear it), but Storm is a close second. Very calming, peaceful and above all, just beautiful music.

UP THERE WITH THE GREATS

Nova is the finest female voice in music since Joan Baez. I look forward to the next album.

Born to a Canadian mother and a father from Bermuda, Heather Frith used singing and music as a means of entertainment during her childhood. She was born in her father's native land on July 6, 1967, and spent the next 16 years of her life aboard a 40-foot boat with her parents, brother, and sister. Her imagination was tested and music was her calling....
