On the Spot Trio's "Straight Out The Garden" is a guaranteed funky good time! These guys tastefully execute the foundation of the great funky organ trio's that preceed them, but with a brand new Fun-ky twist. This album captures the conciseness of their inspired improvised performances with quality, clarity, and precision of studio sound and fantastic production by Alan Evans of Soulive! These guys will rock your sox off!!! Great Album! Great Band! Up there with the likes of Soulive, MMW, JFJO, Scofield, etc... Can't wait til these guys come back to rock in CO!!!
