Weird al is great
This is a hilarious album with so many great songs. Weird al is amazing!!!
A modern cultural masterpiece.
Weird Al's parents died in the period between Poodle Hat and Straight Outta Lynwood. No one really knew what was going to happen- would Weird Al continue as he'd been going for the past 3 decades? Would he even continue his career after such as a devastating loss?
Al not only came back, but he exceeded all expectations. His creative mind continues to astonish me daily, as well as his continuing relevence. People who make fun of Weird Al only need to be informed that he's lasted longer than the vast majority of artists he parodies, and then all their arguments fall to pieces.
All in all, this is Al's finest work by far. It's a brilliant parody of modern culture that meshes with Al's signature style, and all fans of comedy are recommended to purchase it.
