The girl's got some chops!
This initial solo release from former Overnight Lows singer Jules Larson proves that the girl is perfectly capable of holding her own. From her first words in "Falling for the First Time" to the final verse of "Almost Blows My Mind", Jules keeps the snappy tunes coming throughout the entire EP. Every song is perfect for dancing or driving down the freeway on a warm summers day with the top down (if you are in Cali driving along Sunset while it's playing...consider that a bonus). As a fan of her former work, I am happy to see that she brought a bit of O-Lows flavor to her first on-her-own album. Here's hoping that this won't be the last time we hear the edgy vocals of this goddess of song.
