Fantastic album
This is a fantastic album, among the top recordings for each of these three works. The Berlin sound is in full bloom, and Gundula Janowitz has the perfect voice for the Lieder. Contrary to the previous reviewer's comment/gripe, you can buy just the Vier letzte Lieder if you don't wish to buy the entire album.
Rip-Off
The fourth of Strauss's Four Last Songs on this album is followed by "Work Only," but there is no price listed for the work. No fair that one has to buy the whole album just to get a copy of the Karajan/Janowitz version of this opus.
