Great Interpretation

Robert Craft is the best when it comes to Stravinsky. He was a good friend of the man, and so knew what his intent was when it came to his music. Stravinsky himself praised Craft on his interpretations, so I think there is no argument here. Robert Craft is also well-equipped with the London Symphony Orchestra.

Good music, bad recording

I love Stravinsky and the performance is fine, but the **recording is distorted**. Too bad because it seems like a good deal.

A fantastic buy

An exeptional CD featuring three lesser-known Stravinsky masterpieces: "Apollo" and "Orpheus" are both prime examples of neoclassical elegance, while the quirky, but nonetheless pleasantly weird "Agon" represents Stravinsky's personal take on serialism. Superb performances all around the board.
