AWESOME indie find
I discovered the song My Ghost from an episode of "Bones" - and WOW, what a find. The whole album is just as good, as moody and as haunting as that one song. I love this artist's overall sound -- it's different from everything else out there and it feels very genuine and heartfelt. This is a real artist, and I hope to hear more.
kinda like Cold Play only better
Glass Pear may be rather unrecognized, but this album goes to show that you don't need major labels or all the money to create brilliant, quality music. Yestyn Griffiths, the bands vocalist, has a great range in his vocals, not only meaning he can sing pretty high, but he's also able to really convey emotion in songs like "Listen to the Music" and "My Ghost". But its not just the softer songs that hit sweet notes, its every song. Each track stands out with something of its own to offer, whether its Yestyn's soaring vocals (Last Day of Your Life), a catchy piano-y inlay (Come Alive) or gorgeous acoustic guitar playing (Wild Place) - there is something unique and captivating about each song. Seriously - buy this album. Its brilliant. This is a band to keep your eyes on - they are going places for sure.

I love this album!! I first heard them from another artist, Jem..Which is actually the sister of one of the band members. I checked out their myspace page and just fell in love with their music!!
