Customer Reviews

One of the best live CDs i've heard in years.

I had the pleasure of attending the show in which this record was recorded. It's one of the better live CDs i've heard in years. E's implementation of the strings section far increases the value and affect of the songs, regardless of how much impact they already had (especially the cuts off of "Blinking Lights and Other Revelations"). However, what makes the record, litterally, is his cover of the seldom known, yet fantastic song "Pretty Ballerina", originally done by The Left Banke in 1967. E's version, which is considerably more "rock" then the original is nothing short of fantastic. It only complements the other fantastic selection found in this record. A great, great buy.

great show

This was a great show. I had the pleasure of attending it over this summer past, simply phenominal. Mr. E is a fantastic composer/musician/rockbox/all-around-dude. if your an eels fan, this is sure to be a new fave of yours.

This is awesome

I was getting desperate with finding good music amidst so much crap (even in iTunes) when I found this. This is a pure jewel. Buy it.

As the years progressed, Everett began leading a troubled teenage life, which was further complicated by his father's death....
